Add Finding from WriteupsDB

Follow these steps add findings from WriteupsDB to a report in PlexTrac.

WriteupsDB serves as a central repository of findings templates. By default, PlexTrac includes hundreds of standard findings from common frameworks, like CIS.

Findings from scanners and other custom findings may be easily copied to WriteupsDB. Learn how to copy findings to WriteupsDB here.

Step 1: Navigate to the desired Report via the Clients Module

Step 2: Find your Client and select a Report to add the Finding

Step 3: Click the "Add Findings" button and select the "From WriteupsDB" option

Step 4: Use the search box or filter by tags to find the writeup you are looking for, then click the write-ups on the left side to add them to the report, then click the "Save" button
