PlexTrac Naming Standards
When building out your template, if you ever need assistance with your template, its helpful for the PlexTrac team to have a standard naming convention for variables. These are HIGHLY recommended but not required.

Namespaces

INTEGER Type Namespaces: nn.variable STRING Type Namespaces: ss.variable BOOLEAN Type Namespaces: bb.variable
When declaring your namespaces, please use the above nn, ss, and bb respectively for each type of variable. Also, please declare them as high up on the document as possible.

Findings

This is the standard naming convention for Findings. When iterating through findings, please use the following structure:
1
{% for group in FINDINGS %}
2
{% for f in group.FINDINGS %}
3
{{f.title}}
4
etc, etc, etc
5
{%endfor%}
6
{%endfor%}
Copied!
The importance of this is when sending a template to PlexTrac for review, we can pick up and understand the code without needing to read through all the variable declarations.
