Creating a Procedure
This page explains how to create a procedure.
Step 1: From the Manage page of the Runbooks module, click the Procedures tab.
Step 2: Click Create.
Step 3: Enter a title, ID, description, and any tags for the tactic in the appropriate fields.
Procedure Title/ID should including MITRE technique numbers if applicable, such as AE-T1110.002, with local indicator to distinguish from official MITRE technique.
Step 4: Click Add Another Step to create a procedure step and repeat as necessary.
A procedure must have at least one step.
Step 5: Click Create and Continue.
If applicable, click Add Another Step to create more steps and repeat as necessary. Select one or more procedures from the list provided by clicking the ID (edit this list by visiting the Procedures tab). A green checkbox will appear confirming the technique was added. Click Select All to include all available procedures. Use the search box to find a specific procedure.
Step 5: Scroll back to the top of the page and click Save and Continue.
A confirmation message will briefly appear if successful.
Step 6: Assign the procedure to one or more techniques by clicking the row of the desired technique. A green checkbox will appear confirming the choice. Click Select All to include all available techniques. Use the search box to find a specific technique.
Step 8: Scroll back to the top of the page and click Assign Procedure.
A confirmation message will briefly appear if successful.
Existing procedures can be edited by clicking Edit for the desired methodology under the "Actions" column.
