Importing via an Integration

This page explains how to import findings into PlexTrac via a licensed integration.
Findings may be imported into PlexTrac via a licensed API integration and configured by an admin. Visit this page for admin instructions on setting up a licensed integration.

Importing from Snyk or HackerOne

Step 1: Navigate to the Reports module, click the row of the impacted report to bring up the "Report Readout" view, then click the Findings tab.
Step 2: Click Add Findings.
Step 3: Select Integrations from the pulldown menu.
Step 4: Select the desired tool.
If tool is not licensed or not configured by an admin, the option to add findings from that tool will not appear in the pulldown menu.
Step 5: Click Continue.
Step 6: The Select Findings tab appears with a list of possible findings to import displayed. Either select all findings by clicking the check box in the first row of the header column at the top of the table, or click a finding individually. Findings can also be searched and filtered.
Click Continue with xx Findings when finished.
Step 7: Insert desired optional tags to be associated with each finding when imported. Click Import xx Findings.
Messages confirming success or failure of the import will appear in the bottom-left of the page.

Importing from Tenable

Step 1: Navigate to the Reports module, click the row of the impacted report to bring up the "Report Readout" view, then click the Findings tab.
Step 2: Click Add Findings.
